For the second year in a row, the Methuen Police Department is participating in the “Pink Patch Project” during the month of October, nationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Pink Patch Project is an innovative public awareness campaign to bring attention to the fight against cancer and to support cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease.
We are happy to announce that the Methuen Police Department is partnering with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in this campaign. 100% of the proceeds of this campaign will be donated directly to Dana Farber in the fight to cure and treat this deadly disease.
Thanks to the generosity of the Methuen Police Superior Officer’s Association and the Methuen Police Patrolman’s Association, a limited number of Methuen Police pink patches have been purchased.
Officers, dispatchers, non-sworn personnel, and civilian members of the department can voluntarily participate in this fundraiser by making a donation to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. For their donation, they will receive 2 pink patches which they can put on their uniform shirts to wear during the month of October.
A limited number of these pink Methuen Police Department patches have been made available for the public to purchase by making a donation to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
For a minimum $10.00 donation, you can purchase one of our pink patches. Each donation of $10 or more will receive 1 exclusive Methuen Police Department pink patch. One patch per person is available. Donations over $10 are not eligible for more than one patch but are very much appreciated to support cancer care and research at Dana-Farber.

We have a limited number of these pink patches available so once we run out, they will no longer be available this year.
All proceeds from this fundraiser go directly to Dana Farber Cancer Institute to help find a cure for cancer and research to defeat this deadly disease.
