The Methuen Police Explorer Program is one of the oldest in the Commonwealth spanning almost 50 years, founded on July 12th, 1973.
The #Methuen Police Explorer Program is a career-oriented program that gives young adults the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement by working with local law enforcement agencies.
Exploring programs are a non-Scouting subsidiary of the Boy Scouts of America. The program is generally available to qualified young adults who graduated 8th grade and are ages 14 through 21.
The Methuen Police Explorer program is for young adults that want an experience and training of what it takes to be a police officer. Many times, training is designed from the same course material presented at Commonwealth’s Municipal Police Academies.
Anyone interested in the Methuen Police Explorer program is welcome to come to the Methuen Police Department on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023, at 0630 PM, for a brief information session to the program.
All attendees should meet in the Methuen Police Department’s Main Lobby by the Dispatch Center.
