A sincere Congratulations and Thank You are in order for all of the Methuen Police Department employees who are retiring, have retired or otherwise left our Department over the past few months. This morning, Chief Solomon and Mayor Neil Perry came together at the Methuen Police Station in a ceremony to honor those Officers and employees who have recently retired or otherwise left the police department. Pictured below with Chief Solomon and Mayor Perry are Dispatcher Robert Finn, who served the MPD for 25 years, and former Methuen Police Intermittent Officer Anthony LaRosa, now a member of the Plaistow, NH Police Department.
Among those honored today, who could not be in attendance were Sergeant Donald Lavigne (32 years of service), Officer James Mellor (33 years), and Lieutenant Stephen Smith (25 years). Also recognized were Officers Alexander Richmond and Detective Sean Fountain, as well as Intermittent Officers Jevon Knott, Christopher Gagne and Brady Abraham.
