Methuen Police Department Raises More Than $2,500 for Cops for Kids with Cancer as Part of No Shave November
METHUEN – Mayor James P. Jajuga and Chief Joseph Solomon are pleased to announce that the Methuen Police Department raised $2,600 to benefit Cops for Kids with Cancer through its annual No Shave November campaign.
Participating officers pledged a donation to Cops for Kids with Cancer, and, in turn, were granted a month-long waiver from the department policy restricting facial hair growth.
“The Methuen Police Department takes great pride in participating in No Shave November to support Cops for Kids with Cancer,” Chief Solomon said. “I’m thrilled that everyone once again came together for this fun campaign to raise these funds for children in need.”
Methuen Police have participated in the No Shave campaign since 2015 and each year work to raise money for Cops for Kids with Cancer.
“I commend Methuen Police for continuing to support this worthy charity year after year,” Mayor Jajuga said.
