The Methuen Police Department is looking for the public’s help for information on a crime which occurred early Wednesday morning on January 3, 2018. At approximately 3:25 am, three suspects forced entry into the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 14 Jackson St. in Methuen. The suspects entered the store and attempted to steal a TD Bank ATM which was located near the door. The suspects tied a chain around the ATM and attempted to pull the ATM out of the building with a minivan.
The suspects then backed up into the store using a Honda CRV (older model) and smashed into the ATM next to the entrance. The three suspects then dragged the ATM out of the building and loaded it into the back of the minivan (used earlier).
The minivan involved in the incident has been recovered and we are attempting to locate the second vehicle involved, a Honda CRV (older model). We are also looking to identify the suspects involved in the incident.
