UPDATE!
As of 9:00am today, Thursday, November 2, 2017, there are approximately 2,500 customers without power in Methuen. National Grid reports that there are multiple crews on location in Methuen and additional support brought in from outside the area to assist.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RESIDENTS WHO HAVE LOST THE DROP LINE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO THEIR HOME.
If a fallen tree or large limb has pulled the drop line off of your home, it is imperative that you complete the following steps:
A. Contact a private electrician to connect the drop line back to your home.
B. Contact the City Electrical Inspector, Dan Cuddy, at 978-983-8625 to inspect the drop line reattachment.
C. Contact National Grid who will be providing 24 Hour Reconnect Service to residents, and request power restored.
