Methuen Police take part in 2017 Red Nose Day today May 25, 2017!
Red Nose Day is a yearly campaign to raise awareness and money to help end child poverty. Red Nose Day was created out of the belief that the power of mass media can raise awareness on issues of poverty and save millions of lives. Comic Relief, the charity behind Red Nose Day, was launched on Christmas Day in 1985 by movie writer/director Richard Curtis.
Together, with the non-profit organization Comic Relief Inc, Walgreens is helping kids that need it most. Since 2015, over $60 million has been raised by the Red Nose Day campaign and this amount continues to grow. One red nose at a time, Comic Relief Inc and Walgreens strive to end child poverty.
Where can you get your Red Nose Day noses? Purchase your red noses at a Walgreens near you.
