Two recent incidents of counterfeit money passed:
1. On January 12, 2011 a 20 dollar counterfeit bill passed at Sunoco located at 150 Pelham St. Methuen Ma. Three males in a white 90’s Dodge Durango with no front plate pulled up to the pumps. There were three young males total, and there was a heavy set light skinned male operating the vehicle. The attendant discovered the fake bill and told the subject that the bill was fake, and that she would be turning it over to Methuen Police. At this time the heavy set male went back to the Durango and he and two other friends came back into the store to argue with the attendant about the bill.
2. On February 02, 2011 the River Bank on Jackson St. recovered a counterfeit one hundred dollar bill. The bill was turned in by a man that exchanged the bill for a a white heavy set male male approx 5 foot 6 inches tall wearing a hood.
